Chenghe Guan is an Assistant Professor of Urban Science and Policy at NYU Shanghai and a Global Network Professor at NYU. He is also a research consultant at the Centre on Migration, Policy and Society at the University of Oxford. Previously, Guan worked as a postdoc at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Harvard University. Additionally, he was a Harold A. Pollman Research Fellow of Real Estate and Urban Development at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and a consultant to the World Bank. Guan received his master’s and doctoral degrees from the Department of Urban Planning and Design at Harvard. Guan’s research interests include urban big data and space-time computation in a smart eco-city system in a multi-disciplinary context and real estate economics and urban infrastructure planning in low-carbon cities.
