Yizhou Ye is a PhD student from Thrust of Urban Governance and Design, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). His research interests include social mobility, urbanization, neighborhood effect, immigration, and computational methods. He focuses on how the integration of rapid urbanization and mass migration in Chinese metropolises shapes the intergenerational mobility pattern, utilizing social survey data, administrative data, and street view images. He currently acts as the academic intern in CASER, mainly working on survey projects in Shanghai.
