Selected reports participated in by CASER researchers

CASER researchers in the past have used their professional skills and knowledge to provide consultancy service to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government (HKSAR), Shenzhen Municipal Government, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), and the National Bureau of Statistics. In particular, the two reports submitted to China’s National Bureau of Statistics provided a historical overview of the six population censuses in the People’s Republic of China and an outlook on suggestions for new practices in the population census in 2020 and beyond.
