NYU Shanghai-ECNU Joint Graduate Training Program (NET)
The NYU Shanghai-ECNU Joint Graduate Training Program (NET) offers Ph.D. and master’s programs in Sociology. NYU Shanghai faculty recruit and mentor graduate students at East China Normal University (ECNU) through this program.
Participating students obtain close mentorship by NYU Shanghai faculty and have access to the education and research resources of East China Normal University and NYU Shanghai. Upon successful completion of the program, students are awarded an ECNU master or Ph.D. degree.

Master Program
Applications are to be submitted through ECNU online application system. The system is now open for Fall 2022 admission and the application deadline for exam-exempt students is September 24, 2021. Applications are only accepted for Fall admission.
- Students who are interested and have obtained exam-exempt qualification should register at https://yjszs-ss.ecnu.edu.cn before September 24, 2021.
- Students who need to take an entrance exam should register at https://yz.chsi.com.cn or https://yz.chsi.cn in October, 2021.
