Zhengchen Lyu is a graduate student in Sociology in the NYU Shanghai–ECNU Joint Graduate Training Program (NET). His research interests include social stratification and mobility, sociology of education, and family sociology. He is particularly interested in how family background and institutional contexts shape individual opportunities and life-course outcomes. He primarily uses quantitative methods and longitudinal survey data in his research.
