Who can apply?
The program is designed for young researchers (PhD students, early-career post-doc/junior faculty) with background in social science or relevant fields.

- Full CV
- Letter of motivation indicating why interested in participating the program
- Abstract of the research project (optional)
Each applicant can apply for up to 2 advanced courses.
The application deadline is May 30. After successful submission of the application materials, you will receive an email confirmation of receipt. The decision will be made by the selection committee, and will communicate to applicants on June 10.
What is the Selection Procedure?
Up to 25 applicants will be selected for each of the course. Selection will be based primarily on applicants’ academic achievements, research interests and motivation. We will also seek balance in research focus, and consider other factors that contribute to a diverse intellectual atmosphere.
What are the costs?
The tuition fee is RMB 1,000 per course. Payment will be required after the selection procedure is completed and details will be communicated to admitted students. There is no need to pay at the registration stage.
A limited number of tuition fee waiver scholarships will be offered to selected students based on their academic merit, professional experience and their statement in the letter of motivation.
